Ontario Pork Pig Mobile

Pig Mobile Hambassador Resource Page

Ontario Pork’s Pig Mobile is a popular traveling animal display that gives Ontario consumers the opportunity to experience pigs in real life, without the biosecurity worries of on-farm visits.

Consumers love being able to see live pigs but they also love being able to talk with a people who work with animals That’s where Ontario Pork Hambassadors come in! We rely on farmers and industry partners to staff the Pig Mobile at Ontario events throughout the year.

When you arrive at the event look for the sign-in book and complete the fields accurately. To receive payment, submit an expense form including the date and name of the event, hours worked, mileage and any additional costs (with receipts).

All payments over $130 are subject to statutory deductions (income tax and CPP) and must be reported on a T4, as per Canada Revenue regulations.

If you are new to helping with the Pig Mobile, you’ll also need to complete a New Casual Employee form.
