Ontario Pork has over 15 full-time staff, plus part-time and contract support. With expertise in agriculture, policy, and community engagement, the team provides support for local producers and consumers alike.
Our senior leadership team steers each department to keep everything on track with Ontario Pork’s mission.
Ken manages Ontario Pork’s operations and works closely with the Board of Directors to shape strategy, policies, and initiatives that benefit the industry. He builds partnerships with stakeholders and sets goals and priorities that align with Ontario Pork’s overall strategic vision.
Jim and his team handle Ontario Pork’s finances. They take care of audits and manage daily financial operations like banking, accounts receivable/payable, taxes, and payroll.
Frank and his team act as a link between producers and Ontario Pork, building solid business relationships with producers and their associations. They roll out national programs, support tech adoption, and keep producers and partners informed about industry challenges.
Julie and her team support Ontario’s pork producers by promoting Ontario-grown pork and fostering a business environment for the industry. They work with members to develop strategies, messaging, and resources that share accurate, valuable information with producers, partners, and the public, enhancing industry pride and reputation across Canada.
Blair and the HogLink team support pork producers in getting the most value by handling bookings and deliveries, negotiating freight rates, and managing producer-packer agreements. Blair also oversees hog marketing strategy, manages U.S. sales and shipments, and runs the forward pricing program.
