Ready to take a more active role in shaping the future of Ontario’s pork industry? The Ontario Pork Leadership Course is a six-session program designed to help producers build the skills and confidence to lead: on your farm, in your community, and across the sector.

Level 100 (Currently Full)

From September 2026 to March 2027, you will work alongside fellow producers through hands-on sessions covering:

  • Leadership & Teamwork– Discover your leadership style and how to work effectively with others
  • Industry Insight– Understand how Ontario Pork operates and where you fit into the bigger picture
  • Communication Training– Learn to speak confidently about pork production with consumers and stakeholders
  • Farm Economics 101– Get practical tools for pricing, margins, forecasting, and strategic planning
  • Value-Chain Exposure– See how producers, processors, and retailers connect to drive industry success
  • Advocacy at Queen’s Park– Get real, in-person experience meeting with government decision-makers


Whether you are new to leadership or looking to formalize skills you already have, this course will equip you to speak up, stand out, and help steer the direction of Ontario’s pork sector.
